Virat apologises to Vinu and explains that he was unable to locate his mother. Vinu claims that he lied and made a false promise. He cries as he leaves and declines to cut the cake. Coworkers at Satya's home grow weary of waiting for Satya and Sai and inquire as to their whereabouts. In vain, Amba tries to call Satya. Gowri queries her as to why Satya was sent with Sai. She then issues a warning to Bhavani, telling her not to dare offend her MIL ever again.
Vinu is prepared to cut the cake, says Savi as they descend the stairs together. After putting a stop to the turmoil here, Amba departs and asks Satya to hurry back home. When Pakhi returns, Sai will become Vinu's adopted mother, just as Savi became Virat his adopted father. Only then, adds Vinu, would he cut the cake. He asks Sai to sign the documents after displaying a collage with them. Bhavai queries the source of this concept. Savi acknowledges that she did and recalls the event. Sai enthusiastically signs the document. With Sai, Virat, and Sai, Vinu enjoys cutting cake.
