I said, "Ghum hai kisi ke pyaar mein." Part 12 of "Nayi Kahani, Naya Safar"

Calling Sunny, he requested that he visit Chavan Nivas as soon as possible. Chavan Nivas was quickly approached by Sunny. Then Virat announced that he wanted to reveal a crucial truth that would clear up everyone's misconceptions.  When he first arrived in Nasik to do the Pooja that his Bhavani Kaku had been requesting for a very long time, he set up the iPad but quickly realised that it would shut off due to low battery and none of them would be able to watch the Pooja.  He ran into Patralekha at that point and took her charger. Sunny afterwards recommended that he attend the yoga retreat before starting his first posting. They headed to the Yoga Retreat when he unintentionally ran into Patralekha once more. They continued running into each other and felt destined to be together, but they failed to realise that it was just a passing fling since no one can fall in love in just two days.

The following day, he left for Gadchiroli, but not before asking Sunny to get Patralekha's phone number so he could proceed with her, believing she was his True Love. When Sunny finally spoke, he explained that after much searching, he had located Patralekha's phone number and emailed Virat her other contact information. In the meantime, Patralekha also wanted to call Virat and had asked the yoga instructor to give her his contact information.

She requested Virat's phone number, and the yoga instructor complied. Since Virat's new phone did not carry Patralekha's information, he was unable to recognise her voice or number when she called. He aggressively asked her why she had called if she wanted to waste someone's time while he was busy at an event and she didn't respond. At that point, Patralekha's parents informed her that they wanted her to move on with her life and meet the man who loved her matrimonial site profile. Chavan Parivaar was the one who preferred Patralekha for Samrat.

The yoga instructor sent her Virat's phone number as promised. He was attending a gathering when she called, and because she didn't respond, he harshly asked her why she had called in the first place. She was in turmoil because she believed Virat had tricked her, not seeing it was fate at work.  She only consented to marry Samrat because she saw how pleased her parents were and didn't want to spoil their joy.  Virat attempted to call Patralekha in the meantime, but she had banned his number because she believed he had cheated on her, thus he was unable to connect. Even more, he texted her. However, it never got to her.

Virat realised they couldn't ever be together on the day of Haldi when they finally came face to face, despite Sunny's advice to be honest with Samrat.Virat held back since he thought doing so would upset Samrat and ruin the Sangeet Night. When Patralekha asked him to marry her, he promised her that he would never allow another girl replace her in his heart because he didn't want to hurt Samrat's feelings or jeopardise the reputations of both families. To waste someone's time, Virat broke his pledge the day he married Sai. His new phone didn't carry Patralekha's information, so he didn't identify her voice or number. Patralekha's parents informed her then that they had requested her to move on with her life.

He continued by saying that he regretted ever meeting Patralekha and wished he had never made any such promises to her since she had been waiting for him in the hope that they would get back together once Patralekha had wed Samrat. When Virat was caring for Kamal and having supper at his Guru's house on her first night, Patralekha called and said she could never love his brother. Samrat then played the audio of his first night in response.Everyone was stunned when they heard Patralekha's confession, and her parents were ashamed of their daughter's actions. Samrat wanted to leave Patralekha so that she could wed Virat and they could live happily ever after. However, when Virat informed Samrat that he was married, Samrat questioned him where his wife was, to which Ashwini related Bhavani and her Chella's wrongdoings.Samrat expressed that he didn't want to stay with his elders any longer since he felt humiliated of them.

In order to marry the woman he fell in love with at the Goa Government Medical College's medical camp, he urged Patralekha to sign the divorce papers. In reality, if he hadn't met his younger sister, he may not have been able to move on with his life. When Virat heard this, he was astonished and questioned Samrat who he thought of as his younger sister and why he was at the medical camp. Samrat then said that rather than reporting for duty with the army, he left and began working in a village close to the Goa border where he established his own small business and had a farm as well.

He brought the village elders to the medical camp set up where he liked a medical intern who was quite attractive and had a beautiful soul; in fact, her companion saved my life when I was about to fall over the bridge and referred to me as Dada. She and I hit it off right away. She continued by talking about how she was pressured into an early marriage, how her husband didn't trust her, and how she eventually left his family and is now going on with her life.  He declared that he would no longer permit Mansi to live with Chavan Parivaar and that she would instead join him. He bade everyone farewell and departed with Mansi.
