Mahendra is brought along by Shagun, who takes advantage of his inebriation. She uses him as leverage against Sarkar and Meet by pretending to be working on his behalf to reclaim his rights while Gunwanti takes charge of the home and Meet is punished for her misdeeds. Hearing Meet's name makes Mahendra crazy, and he orders Shagun to put the automobile in park. Mahendra is persuaded by Shagun that he may acquire the land and Meet's plant. She describes how they can take advantage of Meet's vulnerability to her.
Mahendra is asked for his approval when Shagun explains her intention to stop Meet to him. Due to his desire for vengeance, Mahendra quickly accepts. Shagun thinks that having Mahendra in the home will provide her access to information that will enable her to get revenge on Meet. When Mahendra gets back home, he tells Gunwanti the plan and tells her to carry it out the following day. Gunwanti grins, anticipating what is to come. When Meet arrives, he doesn't hear what they are saying. Meet's presence is questioned by Mahendra, who requests that she depart.
Despite his rage, Meet assures Mahendra that they are still family. She proposes they work out their family problems among themselves and begs him to change his mind. She gives him advice to avoid doing anything he would come to regret. Asking Meet to leave the room is Mahendra and Gunwanti. In an attempt to get Raj and Sumeet to sleep, Meet reads them a story. However, when Manmeet enters carrying ice cream, they instantly start to stir. Different flavours of ice cream are cheerfully shared between Raj and Sumeet. Manmeet notices Meet is agitated and inquires as to why.
Meet is curious as to how Manmeet always seems to pick up on her annoyances. She claims that Manmeet can read her eyes. Meet offers that Mahendra become her business partner and that they collaborate to manage the obligations given to her by Sarkar. Manmeet applauds Meet for her original thought and concurs with her choice. Jasodha interrogates Gunwanti on her missing bracelets. Jasodha is allegedly trying to frame Gunwanti and get her kicked out of the house, so Gunwanti puts on a spectacular performance and gathers the locals.
The villagers are told by Gunwanti to look through Jasodha's room for the bangles. Gunwanti places the bracelets under Jasodha's pillow in order to give the impression that Jasodha is at fault. Gunwanti grins as her strategy is successful. When Meet arrives, she is horrified to see the entire community congregating at her home. Someone cloaked in a veil stops Shagun. Starting to yell that her bangles were stolen, Shagun. When Meet removes the veil, Shagun is left speechless. Meet accuses Shagun of stealing her bangles and wants their restitution. Meet tells Shagun to leave their lives and makes a fake tear before giving her tickets to America. Shagun extends her hand to strike Meet, but Meet deflects the blow.
