Virat, who is dressed as a clown, tries to cheer Vinayak up by reminding him that tomorrow is Vinayak's birthday and that they plan to celebrate it extravagantly like they do every year. Vinu is persuaded to celebrate his birthday by Ashwini and Ninad as the rest of the family enters the room. Vinu concurs and states that he will only cut the cake in the presence of Pakhi mama. When asked to wait till his mother arrives, Virat vows to fetch her. Ashwini claims that it is difficult for Virat to keep his commitment, and Ninad agrees. Vinayak receives a birthday greeting from Sai and Savi through video call. Sai claims that they would offer him a special gift because it is his first birthday with them. They are welcomed by Vinu.
Virat receives a call from Inspector Kadam informing him that Savi had spoken to Vinu. She must have called to wish Vinu a happy birthday, as Virat reports that it is twelve. He requests that Vinu's phone number be monitored because Pakhi might call at any time. Sai phones Karishma and inquires as to Pakhi's whereabouts. Virat promised Vinu that he would bring Pakhi home before his birthday, but Karishma says she is unsure of Vinu's reaction if Pakhi doesn't arrive. The following morning, Satya brings veggies and lets his family know that his coworkers would be joining them for supper. Sai queries today. Since she was unable to serve the feast during Satya's weeding due to Sai's ex-husband's turmoil, Amba says she will do so now. Amba is urged by Alka to stop constantly criticising Sai. Sai claims that she must attend Chavan nivas for Vinu's birthday, making today's feast impossible. Amba shows him a newspaper ad by Bhavani stating that Dr. Sai Adhidhari is not linked to them and that any information she has provided about them is untrue. As a result, no one should believe anything she says about the Chavan family. After Bhavani explicitly cautioned her to avoid the Chavan family, she queries whether she still desires to go there.
Sai declares that she will go to Chavan Nivas since it is her son's birthday and that she will do whatever it takes to share in her son's delight. Chavans adorn their home for a birthday celebration. Asking if he located Pakhi, Ashwini contacts Virat. Not yet, claims Virat. He then receives a call from a constable asking him to come to City Hospital right once to identify a body that had been found at the railway station. Virat concurs. A different police officer phones Sai and requests that she visit the hospital to determine whether the deceased person is Pakhi's. Rushing to the hospital, Sai and Virat arrive at the mortuary room simultaneously. They move towards the corpse.
