Before beginning their dancing competition, Anuj and Anupama seek the blessing of gurumaa Malti Devi. Gurumaa believes that anyone would have felt horrible if they had been in Nakul's position. She believes that Nakul should have been allowed to compete so that he could learn why Anupama is the best candidate to succeed her. Leela asks Kinjal to keep quiet about her desire to leave the Shah household. Allow Kinjal to speak, Vanraj says. Only five days remain before Anupama departs for America, according to Kinjal, and since she is so significant to them and is the centre of their existence, they ought to bid her farewell in style.Vanraj promises that they would give Anupama's big farewell their best effort. Anupama's favourite laddus will be prepared, and Leela promises to make Anupama feel so wonderful that she would abandon her plans to travel to America. Vanraj advises that they should let Anupama go and not interfere with her development.
The contest between Anupama and Nakul starts. Gurumaa believes that Anupama is dancing for the world, for herself, and for Nakul to vanquish Anupama. She compliments Anupama. Hearing that makes Nakul envious. The lights waver. Nakul pushes another dancer, who then drops a vase of flowers. Anupama stumbles and wobbles in discomfort after stepping on hidden glass fragments. Gurumaa becomes concerned. Vanraj says Toshu should stop making mistakes repeatedly and then apologising. He also says he found a job at his company, that he should work to take care of Pari, and that he should try to win Kinjal's heart back. Vanraj compares Toshu to his hair, saying that he will do anything to keep it straight. He advises them to bid Anupama a triumphant farewell because she is leaving in only five days. Toshu concurs.
Rushing to Anupama is Guruma. Acting, Nakul motions for someone to dial a doctor. To allow Gurumaa to touch her feet, Anupama hesitates. Anupama's foot is free of glass strands, and Guruma states a guru cannot observe his or her student's suffering before bandaging it. Anupama apologises and tells her not to worry since she will handle the situation and keep her promise to her. She also says that she will use a herbal paste to treat her wounds. Gurumaa claims to know that Anupama will dance despite having hurt feet, but she still wants to know how the mishap occurred and who put a vase close to the dancing area and how glass fragments got inside of it. To find out who made this error, she requests that Nakul obtain the CCTV tape. Nakul becomes anxious.Anupama said she left the vase there after noticing his face. Gurumaa believes Anupama did not make the error, but her wounds shouldn't be severe.
Vanraj is present when Kavya attends the hospital for her sonography. Vanraj claims that he arrived because he overheard her telling Kinjal that she had a doctor's appointment today. There was no need for him to come, claims Kavya. Vanraj asks her to go back to her house, explaining that he came for himself, that he wants to be with her and the baby and feel the joys that he lost out on while raising his other three children, etc. Kavya concurs. He walks alongside her grinning. Nakul apologises to Anupama for his envious behaviour while holding her feet. He is asked not to touch Anupama's feet. Nakul claims that she accepted responsibility for his actions even though she knew he had committed them. Let's put it behind us and keep it private, adds Anupama. Nakul begins to laud her. Gurumaa observes them conversing and believes Anupama cannot make such a mistake.
