'Super Dancer Chapter 3's' unsuitable episode must be removed, according to the National Commission for the Protection of Children's Rights (NCPCR).

Recently, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) wrote to Shaeesta Naqvi, the channel's grievance officer, pleading with her to remove a specific episode of the well-known dancing reality show "Super Dancer Chapter 3." A child contestant was allegedly asked "vulgar & s*xually explicit" questions about his parents by the judges during the aforementioned programme.

The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act of 2015 and the Information Technology Act of 2000 were violated, according to the NCPCR, which expressed concern over the inappropriate content and decided to take cognizance under Section 13 (1) (j) of the CPCR Act, 2005.

The commission also emphasised that the young participant was asked questions that were inappropriate for children and violated their rules for child and adolescent engagement in the entertainment sector.

In the letter, it was urgently requested that the offending episode be immediately removed and that the channel provide an explanation for why such improper content was included in a children's dancing programme. Aside from that, the NCPCR asked the station to stop streaming such inappropriate material in the future.

Further stress was placed by the NCPCR Chairperson on the need for an Action Taken Report (ATR) to be delivered to the Commission within seven days of receiving the letter. Awaiting the channel's answer to the commission's demands, this matter has drawn attention since it raises questions about child protection and suitable media content.
