Neerja's sincere prayer to Kalima, the deity she worships, in which she questions whether God has ever been loving to her. Neerja destroys all of her notes during a self-conscious moment. She confronts Kalima, saying that the woman must demonstrate her worth if the God intends for her to be his daughter. Abir, meantime, becomes lost on a lonesome road and hears the toll of a bell coming from a neighbouring shrine.
After arriving at Sonagachi with his father, Abir's father goes to get an umbrella but returns to find Abir gone.
When Abir hears Neerja praying, he assumes it is Trisha and moves closer to the temple but fails to spot her. Neerja departs. Abir begins to look for Trisha.
Neerja and Abir tumble to the ground after colliding. Seeing Neerja is Abir. Neerja apologises for not having seen you approaching. Trisha, Abir draws her in and says.
The two get into a furious argument, during which Neerja angrily denies being Trisha, Abir's late wife. Abir is adamant in his beliefs despite Neerja's rejection of them. Abir is in anguish as Neerja hears thunder and rushes to his aid. She receives an embrace from Abir. Confused is Neerja. Neerja refuses to accompany her and takes Abir to a shelter as he begs her to stay with him. Abir begs her not to abandon him. Bijay notices Abir with Neerja, who is tending to him. Neerja queries Abir about his identity and goals. He is my son, and I appreciate you taking care of him, Bijay approaches her and says.
Abir tells Neerja, "Trisha, come with me. We're going home to talk." Bijay announces that he is there to take dirt. Abir is comforted by Bijay, who also apologises on his behalf. Didun demonstrates some stitching to Neerja while she is back at the brothel and tells her to get ready for a wealthy client's visit the following day. Didun displays impatience and declares Partima's obligation would be settled tomorrow, despite Neerja's assurance that she will pay off all the debts amassed over the previous 20 years. Pratima remained covert while observing their interaction.
