There have recently been rumours that Bigg Boss season 17 host Salman Khan may have resigned after a picture of him smoking while hosting the programme went viral. Salman Khan will once again host the forthcoming Weekend Ka Vaar, according to insiders with the programme who have shot down these rumours.

In Salman's brief absence, Krushna Abhishek, a comedian, took over as host; Bharti Singh joined him on the Sunday programme. Salman Khan is hosting Bigg Boss OTT for the first time this season; Karan Johar was in charge of the previous season.
