Later, Pulkit inquired about Sai's whereabouts from Virat because she hadn't attended college and wasn't answering her phone. Then Virat described how he became so caught up in his family's blame game that he accused Sai of being the source of all of his issues and even accused her of destroying Devyani's life. However, now after learning the whole truth and seeing all the evidence, he felt absolutely destroyed within.  Then Devyani accused him of just paying attention to his Yoga Love and disregarding Sai, saying that Sai was immature, but if anyone was, it was him.She interrogated him.

He once made a female query if he was really in his right mind when he said he would never let another girl into his heart: "Does a person fall in love within two days of meeting." Since he always attended a males' school and was surrounded by men during his IPS training, she said, very seriously, that when he first encountered a girl, he immediately fell in love with her.He called it "love"...…Virat had a terrible feeling.Devyani then questioned him about his legal standing to marry a 20-year-old woman and informed him that their union was only a contract that would last till she completed her MBBS studies after which she may divorce him. If, she enquired Marriage was merely a ruse or jest.She then explained to him that although there will be ups and downs in every marriage because neither partner is perfect, they could endeavour to make it ideal. Marriage is a sacred connection that joins a man and a woman for seven births. 

She explained to him that although he believed he had sacrificed his love for his brother Samrat, in fact, he had just ruined Samrat's life. Devyani continued by telling the story of Samrat's wedding night, during which he overheard Patralekha declare her affections to Virat over the phone.She didn't realise that she needed to move on and that she was no longer allowed to call you. Samrat was devastated when he heard this.  He felt betrayed by the one person he most trusted, his own brother. She then inquired as to whether Virat was hurt by Sai forcing Devyani to run away and marry someone else.

Then Pulkit considers Samrat.Virat became lost in his thoughts.He came to the realisation that he ought to have told his brother the truth, possibly saving four lives.  The pledge he had made to Patralekha burned on the day he wed Sai, Devyani also revealed to him. Devyani said, "How he always allowed a third person to meddle in his relationship with Sai...She stated that no third party has the authority to speak in a relationship, yet our wonderful hero always allows his BEST FRIEND to speak first. Virat became deeply repentant after realizing all of his errors. 

He then instructed Pulkit and Devyani to protest against everyone who were opposed to their marriage and wanted to punish them for their wrongdoings, but Pulkit and Devyani refused and said they didn't want to begin their relationship feeling guilty for having detained members of their own family. Instead, they told Virat that all they wanted was his blessing for their marriage. Devyani and Pulkit insisted that Virat declare his feelings for Sai and bring her back because they knew he was deeply in love with her.
