Mohan sits with Radha in the pooja; she becomes emotional seeing him, while Ramaveshwar and Dadi are tense. Mohan is surprised to see a photograph of Mandra in front of him; he recalls Mandra visiting his office to make an order for Bhagwat Geeta.
Ramaveshwar notices Mohan and then tells the pandit how the MahaSharad has ended, he gives Pandit jee the money for performing the ritual before sitting beside Mohan, he tells Radha that this ritual is normally finalised by the sons, but because she is both his daughter and son, he must put all the belongings in the Agni and also pay her last respects. Ramaveshwar instructs Mohan to drive the Pandit jee to the front door. Dadi wishes Mohan had not seen this photograph.
When Mohan sees Radha picking up the bangles, he walks to stand in front of her, she says he had gone to drop off Pandit jee, Mohan replies it is important that he stays with her, he asks if Radha will perform her mother's last rites while crying because she will not feel nice seeing her crying.Mohan notices Radha holding her documents and tells her to place them one by one, he offers to hold them so Radha first picks the bangles, Mohan reads the details on it while Radha throws the bangles in the fire, he wonders if Mandra is Radha's mother but wonders how that can happen when her mother died all those years ago, he once again stops Radha saying she must also put the wood in the Agni as it is considered When Mohan notices the photo next to the Agni, he takes it off the cover and is surprised to realise it is of Mandra.
Mandra is enraged, wondering how Mohan got to her house and if the things the Pandit jee claimed are true. She exclaims that she has buried all of her former memories, but they refuse to leave her. Mandra receives a call from Mohan but denies it out of annoyance; however, when he continues to call her, she finally responds so that Mohan may match her face to the one in the photo.Mandra responds that she is very busy and does not have time for all of these things, but promises him that he will get the money for it. Mohan declares that he believes they should deal in cash and that he will personally come to collect it, but Mandra assures him that the cash will be brought to his residence. Mohan wonders why they are suppressing this information; he intends to question Ramaveshwar and Dadi, but they both appear concerned today.
In the middle of the night, Mohan is packing his bag when Radha enters the room and asks where he is going. He informs her that he is going to Banaras for some official work, Radha requests that he also take her with him, Gungun also insists, but Radha replies that her tests are about to begin, so she must stay at home. Radha asks Mohan to take her, but he attempts to persuade her to stay. Radha says she wants to do the pooja because tomorrow is July 3rd. Hearing their chat, Damini and Kaveri exclaim that both Mohan and Radha will leave for Banaras, and that Gungun will undoubtedly die. Kaveri informs Damini that Radha will not go without speaking to Tulsi about the Gungun, but she will not be able to do so because Guru maa has tied both Tulsi's hands and mouth.
While walking down the hall, Radha considers speaking with Tulsi first; Kaveri requests not to go inside the drum, but Damini forces her to do so because their plan would be incomplete without it; Damini finally sees Radha approaching and forces Kaveri inside the drum; Damini also hides in the cabinet. Radha enters and asks Tulsi to give her a sign if she is okay; Kaveri makes the drum swing, and Radha is relieved to know that Tulsi is well. Radha then tells she is going to Banaras with Mohan to perform the pooja; Radha asks if she may go and if Tulsi will look after Gungun. Kaveri plays the drum swing again, and Radha is relieved since she will finally be able to depart without incident. Tulsi, who is sitting next to the cabinet, asks Radha not to leave because she cannot defend Gungun in this position.
Damini runs to open the drum's lid, and Kaveri yells that she needs to do all of this for the sake of one woman, and that if Damini hadn't opened it, her dead body would have been discovered. Tulsi urges Damini not to even think of harming her daughter because when both Radha and Mohan are in Banaras, they would first terminate the life of Gungun and then Tulsi will finally receive rest.
Damini invites Kaveri to come, so she hides once more, but Damini then takes her out of the drum. Tulsi wonders how she can warn Radha that Gungun's life is in jeopardy.
Mandra, standing in front of Pandit jee in the morning, says she told him she would change her fate, which she had, and that is why she requested him to simply prophesy his future, which she will continue to modify. Mandra claims she has certainly terminated her past, which will never be able to strain her present, and she is smiling when she receives a call from Mohan, who answers it by asking why he is bothering her when she has guaranteed him she will pay the money. Mohan cautions her to keep her voice down and not flaunt her wealth, and explains that he is in Banaras.
Mandra wonders why he came to Banaras after she urged him not to. Mohan responds that he will ask her family questions because he knows where her house is. He simply wants answers to some inquiries that both he and Radha would like to receive from her family. Mandra asks if Radha is with him, claiming that he never leaves the house without his wife. Mandra continues to refuse to see him, but he insists on meeting her family if she does not agree to meet him. Mandra finally agrees to meet him, and the call is terminated. Pandit jee wonders if her past has caught up with her present.
When Radha strikes him, Mohan is taken aback. She apologises and then shows him the Mala when he asks if she did not find someone, which is a bit small. Radha admits she has never been to Banaras and believes Bhagwan has summoned them both. Mohan responds that it could be because she needs to settle certain issues, which Radha does not understand when he urges her to go and perform the pooja. Radha wonders if he isn't coming when Mohan says he needs to make an important call. Radha leaves but stops at the stairs, wondering where Mohan jee is going, she has the sensation he is hiding something from her. Radha becomes anxious, wondering if Mohan jee is some sort of a spy.
