Everyone who is an actor or actress showed up looking their best in terms of fashion yesterday at the party held at Ramesh Taurani's residence, duly dressed. Attending the pre-Diwali event, celebrities such as Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra and power couples like Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh looked all glitter and glam, putting all the Diwali bombs to shame.
These Bollywood celebrities made a statement with their outfits and those that were a complete miss, while we're on the subject of fashion. We think some people in the glam world should reconsider their fashion goals or at the very least get a new stylist for the upcoming Diwali bashes, as there are a lot of parties this season that they might have to attend. However, with the fashion choices made here, we wonder if they'll miss it again.

With her multicoloured lehenga, stunning brown choli with zari embellishments, and sheer dupatta with an elaborate border, Katrina Kaif exuded a queenly beauty. Her striking earrings and simple makeup finished the ensemble. Uncomplicated yet stunning! Absolute success!
Hegde, Pooja
Pooja Hegde attracted attention at Ramesh Taurani's party with her stunning ethnic two-piece, which featured an indo-western bottom with ruffled ends and a full-sleeve blouse printed in yellow flowers. The Varun Dhawan
Varun Dhawan arrived sporting a kurta with embroidered details and a light blue colour. It was a respectable and aesthetically pleasing decision, but it was all up to his fashion sense.
Vidya Balan
We finally got to see Vidya Balan dressed differently after a long time, and it gave us a new perspective on her wardrobe selection. The Kahaani actress accessorised her ensemble with a stunning maang teeka, matching her sage and golden silk kurta combo and dupatta. A HUGE HIT!
Bharat Chandra Nushrratt
Nushrratt Bharuccha accessorised an orange-colored lehenga and dupatta with a multicoloured designer blouse. She looked quite uninteresting with all of her jewellery, hair, and cosmetics. I'd rate it a 2.5 out of 5, since it wasn't exactly a hit or a miss.
Anish Kapoor
Anil Kapoor arrived wearing a "jhakas" outfit! He donned patiala slacks with an elaborately made white kurta covered in large flower designs. And my goodness, he's not getting older at all!
The Family of Govinda
Govinda arrived with his entire family, which included his wife and two kids, dressed in matching hues. Although the actor's maroon shawl and black kurta were a complete miss, his wife and kids' black outfits weren't very fashionable. Argh!
Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia Deshmukh
The "IT" couple of Bollywood, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, showed up to Ramesh Taurani's celebration dressed in unison. Although Riteish was dapper in his elaborately embroidered silver co-ord kurta combination, Genelia's appearance was too gaudy to put into words. She accessorised her ensemble with red lips to go with her white flared skirt and sheer matching top. To tell the truth, there was a problem with her attire! Complete failure.
