Shaurya asks Rishab why he called him a child, to which he responds that he is capable of winning the conflict without anyone else's assistance. Shaurya says he does not know anything about this family because they constantly try to push him away and blame him for everything, especially Rishab who is always correcting him. When Nidhi asks Shaurya if he is okay, he responds that he will be fine now that she has arrived. Rishab then asks if Shaurya does not understand the reason behind it. He explains that Shaurya was going to fight with Rajveer but what would happen Shaurya inquires as to why they continually accuse him of being in error, and Rishab responds that they did the right thing by calling the police.
Rishab responds that Shaurya had abducted Palki and then divorced her. Shaurya storms off, declaring that he won't allow Rajveer get away with this. Nidhi turns to Rishab and tells him not to blame Shaurya right now. Rishab responds that he has never done anything wrong to her, but she is aware that Rakhi's mother advised her to have taught Shaurya better values. Sandy approaches her to talk, but when she furiously tells him to leave, Rishab walks away thinking he's going to tell Shaurya.
Sandy hugs Shaurya and says he's glad his friend is okay because he thought Shaurya wouldn't wake up until the morning. Shaurya retorts that he doesn't need this drama because he has his entire family for it, but Sandy says he's going to tell the Luthra family that Rajveer planned this entire incident with Palki. Rajveer is left wondering what he can do as Shaurya furiously departs to get Palki. He tries to go through the door but is unable to unlock it, so he leaps from the window.
Preeta is trapped in the fire when Nidhi, who is shocked to see the fire in the servant quarters, decides to call the fire department. Nidhi then realises that she had previously seen Preeta while travelling and had warned her all those years earlier that she would once again lose Karan to Preeta. Nidhi departs as Karan hurries over to Preeta to tell her that he has brought the towel, but they need to make sure it gets wet, therefore they need water. Preeta then leads Karan into the kitchen.
Nidhi stumbles and is not able to believe that she has seen Preeta, Nidhi thinks she has done a lot for this family but they keep talking about Preeta and not think about her, she thinks she cannot get angry but must control herself, as Preeta snatched everything from her and now has returned however she thinks she will not let Preeta take anything this time, neither Shauyra nor this family and even Karan, she hits the cabinet but falls down after hurting her feet, she thinks that Preeta cannot meet Karan and not any member of the Luthra family, she wonders what can she do.
Preeta should perish in the fire, says Idhi as she ascends the stairs, and she wonders how she survived after dying. She is relieved that no one would notice that she is here. When Nidhi realises it wasn't her imagination and she actually saw Preeta in the market, she begs for Preeta to leave her life for good. When Nidhi sees the invitation cards, she prays that they burn quickly and wonders why they aren't burning because everyone would come if they were. Rakhi exclaims that something is burning, and Nidhi believes Rakhi always carries a matchstick to ruin her life. Rakhi approaches and inquires about the fire, but Karina denies, saying that it is only a small fire and that it is coming from the corner. Nidhi then stands in front of the fire.
Nidhi reassures that nothing is occurring. Rakhi agrees with Karina that they should both go and look in the corner, but Nidhi stops her and asks what she is thinking that she is using this small fire to hide something very big. Karina challenges her to explain how she can believe they feel this way about her. Rakhi insists on going despite coughing, and Nidhi falls on purpose. Karina and Rakhi both assist her to stand.Preeta's eyes are closed, so Karan asks her to open them. He tries to call for help, but no one answers, so he slowly lowers her head to the floor before getting up and looking for a way out. He picks up a wet towel and returns to Preeta, covering her in it while once more calling for assistance, but this time no one answers. While looking for Palki, Rajveer is walking furiously.
Rajveer is quite concerned because he believes he has returned to the same place and wonders why people build such large homes. He also notices Kritika standing in front of him and fears that she would catch him and imprison him in the same room, making it difficult for him to escape.
