The renowned Tara Singh and Sakina from the film Gadar, played by Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, respectively, will appear on The Kapil Sharma Show in a forthcoming episode. In a recent advertisement, Krushna Abhishek appeared dressed as a Sheikh and expressed his respect for the Deol family and their trip from Punjab to Bombay to forge their own identities.
Ameesha Patel told a fascinating story about an occurrence that demonstrated Gadar's enormous popularity throughout the show. She remembers working with Bobby Deol on the set of the movie Humraaz, when a sizable crowd gathered to watch their sequences from a neighboring terrace. The onlookers yelled, "Leave her alone, she's in your brother's hands," as Bobby gave her a hug. She was taken by Tara Singh all the way from Pakistan.
As Sunny Deol received congratulations from Kapil and his family on the wedding of his son, the mood became joyful. As Sunny and Raju danced the Gidda to celebrate the good news, Raju joined in with a dhol. It was amusing, though, when Krushna mispronounced Ameesha Patel's name and called her "Hamesha Patel" instead. Kapil reprimanded him, to which Krushna playfully retorted, "She will always remain Patel and won't change to Sharma on this show."
