Neerja's first day of school in Neerja's 12th July 2023 Written Episode Update.

Neerja is ecstatic as she admires her brand-new school uniform. When they see this, her friends support her for the thrilling voyage that lies ahead.

Pratima finds it difficult to comprehend that Neerja has actually been admitted to the school. Even still, Shyamli steadfastly declines her invitation to enrol in the same school.

Neerja's mother sends her her best wishes for success when she goes to sleep at night. Neerja imagines a future in which she realises all of her goals, with her mother silently pledging to be her constant support and devoted to fostering her daughter's dreams.

The following day, Neerja happily and enthusiastically gets ready for school. She is prepared to start her new voyage and is dressed in her best. Pratima wants Neerja to pray so that she may receive divine favour. Neerja and Pratima offer their prayers together. Pratima is so filled with overwhelming pleasure at her daughter's successes that she is holding her identity card. Pratima makes sure Neerja is never under the shadow of Sonagachi by escorting her hand in hand.

Neerja asks Didun for his blessings before departing. Didun's reply, nevertheless, is sarcastic and makes fun of Neerja's dreams.

Finally, Neerja enters the classroom, bursting with enthusiasm and a sincere desire to learn. Unfortunately, she doesn't get the attention she wants from her classmates. While this is going on, Didun walks into Pratima's room and harshly tells her to concentrate on their work, leaving Pratima obviously worried about Neerja's safety. When Pratima expresses her concerns, Didun wonders why she enrolled Neerja in school so hastily. Pratima wants to provide her daughter with life lessons. Didun replies mockingly and advises Pratima to instruct Neerja in the customs and etiquette of the Sonagachi. Didun serves Pratima a reminder that they are committed to their business until the end of their days in spite of her protests.

Neerja interacts with her peers in lighthearted games during the lunch break. Her happiness is short-lived, though, because one of her classmates takes her lunchbox. Disappointed by this deed, Neerja takes comfort when a fellow classmate gives the naughty perpetrator a moral lesson and forces them to restore her stolen tiffin. Neerja is moved by this deed of compassion, but she admits that she lacks the English language skills necessary to resist such oppressive behaviour. Neerja is inspired by the kind classmate to study English, and after going home, she works carefully on her assignments.

The following day, several men show up at the brothel in an effort to trick Didun. However, Neerja skillfully reacts to them in English and quickly foils their schemes since she is acutely aware of their deception. The men quickly leave after discovering their lies, leaving Didun astonished by Neerja's quick thinking, which ultimately saves her a sizable sum of money. Didun gives Pratima a modest amount of money as well because she is so pleased with her daughter's insight. But she warns Pratima that it's time for them to hit the streets right now. Neerja is therefore told to stay in their room, with all of the doors and windows shut.

Pratima leaves for work every evening, which makes Neerja sad and anxious about her mother's whereabouts. Neerja wants to know why her mother leaves every night and is looking for explanations. While lulling Neerja to sleep with a lullaby, Pratima spins an imaginative narrative. Pratima leaves the room in silence, shutting the door behind her as Neerja nods out. Neerja eventually awakens, only to be welcomed by Chakri and Babbal who ask her to unlock the door. Neerja steps out onto the street to find a neighbouring fair where she may enjoy some ice cream when she unexpectedly sees her mother wearing a lot of makeup. Neerja joyfully screams out to her mother after being startled by her mother's appearance. Partima is startled to see Neerja and tries to cover her face.
