Maitree confronts Harsh on the subject of why he hasn't divorced her yet. Harsh asks Maitree not to compel him to explain the reason. Maitree asks him to inform her. She rushes out after hearing from Yash that Swayam has vanished. When Maitree steps outdoors, she notices Swayam talking with Juhi. Juhi inquires about her father with Maitree. Because it is her birthday, she requests that Maitree bring Swayam to her house tomorrow. From there, Maitree and Swayam leave. Harsh enters the room and inquires about Maitree. Juhi describes Swayam as Maitree's son.
Swayam inquires of Maitree as to why she stopped by on the way. He asks her to tell him about her father. He puts her under pressure to respond. Maitree reaches out a hand to him. She recognises her error and apologizes to him. Swaym suffers an injury and departs the scene.
Swayam is ready for a collision, but he misses it at the last second because the van's driver brakes in time. Swayam collapses with surprise. Maitree sobs when she sees Swayam's condition. She asks for help, but no one responds.
Maitree brings Swayam to the hospital in a four-wheel cart. She asks the Doctor to check on her son. The doctor assures her that she should not be concerned. Swayam is being led inside. Yash's missed calls are noticed by Maitree. She phones him to inform him about the incident.
Sona questions Harsh about why he sent divorce papers to Maitree. Harsh promises that Maitree will answer. Sona chastises Harsh, telling him that whatever he did with Maitree was wrong. The doctor informs Maitree that Swayam was shocked and inquires as to what happened. Maitree claims it's her fault. He walks away, telling her to be careful the next time.
After dipping her hand in boiling water, Maitree burns it. Yash approaches Maitree and asks why she is causing herself so much misery. Maitree notifies him of what has happened.
Swayam appears. Maitree apologises to him. Swayam acknowledges his mistake and apologises to her. He wonders what happened to her hand. Maitree claims to be fine. Swayam has been released. Swaysm gets ready the next day and informs Maitree that he would be attending Juhi's birthday celebration. Maitree is stunned.
