Jiya Shankar encountered disputes and made enemies on the first day of her leadership in the Bigg Boss OTT house. Jiya and Manisha got into an argument about sleeping arrangements soon after Jiya was named the new captain. Manisha was ordered to get her items from the lounge and go back to the room by the woman. Manisha, however, gently informed that the room's severe air conditioning prevented her from sleeping there and had already exacerbated her health problems. Manisha's worries were rejected by Jiya, who advised her to raise the issue with Bigg Boss.
Jiya was entreated by Manisha, who said, "You have the entire week to demonstrate that you are a capable captain. Please keep this from me. In an effort to calm her down, Jiya brought up earlier events, asking, "Why did you sleep on Jad's bed that day? You need to have slept outdoors. "On that day, everyone wanted Jad outside," Abhishek explained, "so Manisha adjusted for just one night." Jiya was emphatic about not letting Manisha sleep outside, though.
Bebika got involved in the argument and called Jiya "self-centered," which infuriated Jiya even more. I don't want you doing kitchen chores any longer, she responded. You were given that responsibility, and I can change it. Stop meddling; Manisha and I are still talking. Jiya refused to listen when Cyrus tried to calm her, so Cyrus confided in Avinash that Jiya was picking on Manisha.
Avinash and Falaq interfered, attempting to convey to Jiya the seriousness of Manisha's medical conditions. After a while, Jiya changed her mind. She gave Manisha permission to get her things and set up her bed. Jiya contacted Manisha once more to talk about the situation, but Manisha became upset when Jiya mentioned "torture," rekindling their disagreement.
Later, Bigg Boss gave Jiya a mission involving rations, giving her instructions to divide the food into seven baskets and rate the participants according to their histories of breaching the rules. Jiya was initially bewildered and started filling the baskets in accordance with the choices of the competitors, going against Bigg Boss' orders. Jiya sent Manisha to jail instead of Cyrus in an unexpected decision. Jiya frequently changed the task to suit her preferences, and Bigg Boss repeatedly questioned her about giving up her leadership.
