Karan rises from his seat and walks over to Rajveer, complimenting him on his selection. He says he truly liked it and that he will now persuade Shaurya that Rajveer's choice is the best one for his business. Rajveer believes he came here to ruin the business, but if Shaurya makes such a ludicrous plea, he will have to step in and prevent any losses. Rajveer anticipates having many opportunities in the future.
Preeta enters the lift just as Nidhi is announcing that she wants to go to the sixth floor when she hears someone trying to stop it. Preeta senses a positive energy emanating from this office because Rajveer recently started working at Mr Luthra's office and she feels compelled to meet him because he saved her from the fire.Preeta thanks the lift operator and exits, leaving Nidhi wondering why she didn't react when she saw her and why she got off on the fourth floor when Karan's office is on the sixth. Nidhi wonders if Preeta has come here to meet Karan and that she doesn't want to reveal her face because it will cause a lot of problems.
When Karan directs the peon to send coffee after 30 minutes and inquires if Shaurya has left the office, the peon replies that Shaurya is still in his cabin. As the peon turns to leave, he stops feeling something. Preeta joins him to stand behind him as Karan wonders why his heart is beating so rapidly. Preeta sees Karan standing right in front of him but he is not looking at her. She adjusts her hair thinking to speak to him so Preeta slowly starts walking to stand behind him when suddenly her dupatta hides her face. Karan is not able to see her but notices that someone is standing behind him and senses something is off.
When a worker drops a file, Preeta quickly turns to assist the worker before quickly walking away, making Karan unable to recognise her. Karan is confused by what has just happened because he thought Preeta had arrived earlier. When Karan asks a worker if she has seen somebody who did not work in this office but arrived here, the worker declines, and Karan wonders why he is asking the worker such strange questions given that it is not polite. A lady came in looking for Rajveer, the peon tries to tell Karan, but he leaves.
When Karan enters Shaurya's cabin and inquires as to why he threw his possessions inside, Shaurya angrily responds that Rajveer was to blame. He claims that Rajveer wrecked the award ceremony and even his launch party, yet he still retained Rajveer. In contrast to Viper, who was an idiot, and Shaurya, who only liked him because he had more followers, Karan claims that he only hired Rajveer because of his talent. According to Karan, it is not always true that those with more followers are also nice, and if Shaurya continues to act in this manner, his business will fail before it has even begun.Shaurya inquires about Rajveer because he is also young. Karan responds that Rajveer is an employee and has excellent business knowledge. Shaurya is furious and demands that Kara choose between Rajveer and his own kid for this position.
When the peon arrives at the cabin, Nidhi simply asks him where Karan is and he replies that he saw Karan sir on the fourth floor. Nidhi is shocked because she also saw Preeta getting out on the fourth floor and would have known that Karan would be present there. She even checks his appointments but is shocked to see that he does not have appointments.
Preeta inquires about Rajveer, a tall, very attractive individual. The girl replies that Rajveer may be in the conference room, but after some time Preeta is informed that Rajveer may be in Shaurya's cabin because they were both at the same meeting.
Shaurya responds that Karan is acting as though Rajveer is his son, which is why he said that he must choose between him and Shaurya. Karan then very calmly informs Shaurya that they have a lot of differences because he does not like the way Shaurya talks to people, but if he wants to persuade Karan to listen to his proposals then he will have to prove it. Shaurya is told furiously by Karan that he must not act in this manner at work because Karan is the boss and Shaurya must follow his orders. Karan then tells Shaurya to clean the cabin.
Preeta is about to enter when Karan exits; she tries to call him but he doesn't answer, and she assumes she will meet Shaurya. However, Rajveer pulls her to the cabin; Preeta is very happy and says she is amazed at how quickly he has risen; Rajveer explains that this office is very strict and they don't allow anyone from the family. Preeta reveals that she believes Rajveer has the power to buy four such businesses now that he has also started addressing her as Maa. Rajveer says he will deliver her to the lift.
Since the lift was taking so long, Nidhi thought he had taken the stairs. She wonders why Preeta didn't recognise her even when she spotted her at the lift. When Nidhi sees Rajveer and Preeta standing next to the lift, she is astonished. She believes that she was right to suspect that Rajveer is related to Preeta very closely, but he lied to her.
Kavya calls Kritika and asks what she's doing after seeing her in the house telling Garesh that they need to change the way the house looks. Kavya asks Kritika why she always looks so young, and Kritika replies that since Kavya has praised her so much, she will kiss her. Kritika then explains that she just wants to know if Varun loves Kavya as fiercely as she does, which makes Kavya a little uneasy.
When Kavya first enters the kitchen, she begins to look through the cabinets. Kritika asks what she is looking for, to which Kavya responds that she is looking for the laddo that Rakhi Ma makes. Kavya goes on to say that she felt as though Rakhi Ma would serve the same laddo to Kavya. Kritika remarks that Kavya is very clever, but Kavya responds that Kritika teases her a lot.
When Shaurya enters the office, he believes he has come today but won't return tomorrow. He is shocked to see his mother standing in front of him and she asks what has happened to him. Shaurya replies that he is going home and is glad to have met her because they need to talk about Rajveer. Shaurya says that Karan came to his cabin and was only praising Rajveer, and that he says he can't take it. Nidhi believes Preeta came to work today and Karan is also there, therefore she needs to see him.
Shaurya questions how he can know it because the woman would have come to visit him in his cabin when Nidhi asks if he saw Karan with any woman wearing a saree. Shaurya questions the point of Karan only talking about himself and wonders why he confided in his mother when she was already tense. He declares that she is the best person in his life while his father is the worst. Nidhi adds that she must speak with him.
