Update for the written episode of "Meet" from July 16, 2023: Bitti and Poonam attempt to learn the truth about Sumeet's pregnancy

Sumeet discovers a container of pickles and tells her carer that Raj forbade her from eating them in order to prevent a sore throat. If Sumeet is expecting, Bitti believes she won't be able to avoid eating pickles. Sumeet is adamant about doing the dishes herself, and she proudly displays how spotless they are. Finally, she gives the pickle a try, but Bitti interprets the circumstance incorrectly and informs Poonam that Sumeet is expecting since she liked eating pickles. Bitti plans to expose Sumeet's deception and enlists Poonam's assistance. Insinuating that pregnant women pick up holy threads, they attempt to dupe Sumeet into doing the same.

To check if Sumeet picks up the holy thread, Bitti and Poonam hide. Sumeet departs after offering prayers to God and ghee to the light. Sumeet is instructed by Pankhuri to prepare for her muh dikhai rite. Sumeet tries to stop Shlok from taking his box as he is leaving for work, but Shlok yells at her and walks away. This causes an argument. Raunak is informed by Vani that he must participate in the muh dikhai ceremony. Shagun advises Vani to persuade Sumeet to attend the rite.

Sumeet resolves to save the holy thread for pregnant women for Vani after recalling Bitti's advice. Sumeet is seen removing the thread, and Poonam and Bitti incorrectly assume that she is actually pregnant and attempting to trap Shlok. Sumeet will have to leave the house, Poonam swears. Shop owners demand payment from Pankhuri for a dress she stole, but Raj steps in and takes care of it. Pankhuri accepts Raj's offer to serve as his secretary. In order to show Sumeet that Raj is uncaring and greedy, he intends to monitor Shlok through Pankhuri.

Poonam confirms to Shagun that Sumeet will accompany her to her home for her muh dikhai. When Vani inquires as to Sumeet's whereabouts, Pankhuri replies that she is getting ready in her room. Sumeet is prevented from placing sindoor by Bitti, who asserts that she alone has the authority to do so. Bitti unintentionally cuts Sumeet's hand with scissors during the ensuing scuffle. Bitti gives Poonam the bloodied scissors and suggests they use them to see if Sumeet is expecting.

Sumeet receives first assistance from Vani. Vani believes that Sumeet should believe that she is married to Raunak when he asks her whether she believes she is married to Shlok. Vani requests that Raunak finish the ritual by taking off Sumeet's veil. He is stopped by Sumeet, who insists that her husband complete the task. She approaches Shlok from behind to stop him, but he disputes Sumeet's involvement in the rite. Sumeet makes a promise not to take off the veil until Shlok does so in the episode's epilogue.
