Kumkum Bhagya Written Episode Update for May 18, 2023: Ranbir is apprehended

Prachi begins the episode by asserting her suspicion that Ranbir is responsible for Khushi's disappearance. Everyone was acting normally, but Shahana claims that even she experienced the same feelings. It appeared as though they were all concealing something. Should I tell you a bizarre thing, Prachi asks? She continues, "When I was trapped with Ranbir in the storeroom, I felt something I always wanted to feel." She claims it was odd and weird, yet enjoyable at the time. When everyone of your family is together, she claims, it feels peaceful. She adds, "I felt like Ranbir and Khushi are here, all my world is in one room." When Ranbir requested me to look inside before Panchi was born, she claims she experienced this.

She claims I could feel her there, but I couldn't find her. She claims that when Ranbir claimed to have seen the spirits, I thought he was trying to divert my attention. If Khushi had been present, according to Shahana, she would have come out and seen you. Yes, Prachi answers. Akshay will take action, says Shahana, asking her to have faith in him.

When Ranbir first wakes up, he has a dream in which he sees Khushi and Prachi sharing a bed, with Prachi chasing after Khushi and asking her to take a bath. He believes he should follow the advice of the attorney and not what Mummy and Dida have said. He believes that if he brings Khushi to the orphanage, they might agree to give him Khushi. I'm to take Khushi to an orphanage and abandon her, he says.

Ashok receives tea from Akshay. Did you prepare this tea, asks Ashok? He claims Prachi makes such energising tea that the entire day is. Do you notice any defects in her? Akshay queries. No, says Ashok, adding that while she might have defects, you might not. The attorney arrives and claims that Khushi will soon be located after speaking with higher authorities.

Pallavi is informed by Rhea that Khushi and Ranbir are not at home. Concerned, Pallavi asks Rhea to retrieve her phone. Pallavi receives a call from Rhea. Calling Ranbir, Pallavi requests that he bring Khushi home, drop her off, and then go. She questions how Khushi can be taken away from us and orders her to go there. I'm very sorry, Ranbir adds before cutting off the conversation. When Pallavi tries to call him again, his phone is off. Pallavi explains how he may remove her from this place. Khushi is his own daughter, Rhea informs her.

Pallavi shouts out that he doesn't care about her sentiments and that he has erred. Rhea offers her some water and commands her to sip. How could he kidnap our daughter without telling us, claims Pallavi. While still operating the vehicle, Ranbir notices the police checking the vehicles at the checkpoint and wonders why. He gets out and motions for the driver of the vehicle following him to move it backwards, but another vehicle follows that one. When Khushi awakens, she asks Ranbir, "Where are we going?" We're heading to an orphanage, he says. Khushi claims she does not wish to travel there. 

Ranbir promises to be there for her. Khushi is being searched, the inspector announces as he spots her in the car. Khushi and Ranbir attempt to flee, but Ranbir is apprehended by police. They detain him and take him. They also take Khushi. Dadi is informed by Prachi that she will search Khushi. Khushi has been discovered, says Akshay as he contacts Prachi. Prachi expresses her joy by thanking Akshay. When the call is over, she informs Shahana that she was being taken somewhere by Ranbir when police picked her up. She requests that Dadi stay at home. To take Khushi, Meera and the warden visit the PS. She claims that she would have given Khushi to Prachi if she could.

Khushi and Ranbir are delivered to the PS. Khasi sobs. Ranbir is adamant that they speak. Parvati and I assure you that no one will mistreat you and no one will lock you in a dark room, he continues. She is urged not to cry by him. She gives him a hug and begs him not to leave. Ranbir is taken inside by the inspector. Khushi begs to see Parvati while sobbing. 

Meera promises to arrange for them to meet. Khushi begs her not to go back on her word. As Meera and Warden are transporting Khushi from that location, Prachi arrives at the PS and her car abruptly stops. She observes Meera, the warden, and Khushi leaving PS together. She exits the vehicle and inquires about Khushi's well-being. Where did you go, she queries? Khushi claims that I went to Shiv's house, that I went there by myself, and that I called the police, but they ignored me. She begs for her to trust her because she loves her. Prachi hugs her and responds, "Yes, I love you a lot." She begs the woman not to cry. Khushi requests that she bring Shiv out for her and rescue her Shiv. You can reprimand me, but just take him out, she replies.
