We previously reported on the reaction of Hasaan Touqeer Khan, Sumbul Touqeer's father, to the news that the Bigg Boss creator was contacting him. Sonal Vengurlekar, who is well-known for her contributions to such works as Saam Daam Dand Bhed, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Yeh Vaada Raha, and more, is the most recent name to surface in the media. She has reportedly been contacted about appearing in the show.

In response to India Forums' inquiry about the veracity of the rumor, Sonal Vengurlekar stated, "I have not yet been approached for Bigg Boss this season. Although I was initially more interested in competing on Bigg Boss 17, nothing has been announced as of yet. I first met them during Bigg Boss OTT 2.
